Knee Injury Not Slowing Down Nason Coleman’s Recruitment

Chandler tight end Nason Coleman has long been on the radar of colleges. After his freshmen year, he was one of four class of 2022 players to receive an offer from Arizona State.

Since then, the 6-foot-3, 230 pounder has received steady attention from schools across the country, and he’s a part of a dynamic group of incoming senior pass catchers with Kyion Grayes and Quaron Adams.

That attention did not slow down despite not playing in 2020. Shortly before the season, Coleman suffered a knee injury that ended his year. Despite being injured, the tight end feels he was able to see the game, and his team, from a new perspective that will help him when he retakes the field.

He is going through the rehab process now and hopes to be cleared in May.

Coleman currently holds offers from ASU, BYU, Iowa State, Utah, New Mexico, Nebraska, UNLV, Idaho, UCF, Arizona, Arkansas, Dartmouth, Yale, Utah State, Colorado State, Princeton and Penn.

The tight end is still considering all options but said ASU, Iowa State, Utah, UCF, Arkansas, Princeton and Nebraska have all been especially effective in their recruiting approaches.

He breaks down each option, how he’s improved as a player, and his timeline on this edition of the Recruiting Roundup.
