Brophy’s Ben Morrison Patient As Big-Time Programs Come Calling

Brophy 2022 defensive back Ben Morrison has already logged plenty of time on the varsity field with a full season ahead of him.

As a junior, Morrison had one more solo tackle in five games than he did in 10 games as a sophomore. He also has 9.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions and eight passes defended in two seasons.

On the recruiting trail, the 6-foot, 175-pound defensive back is one of the most recruited players in the state.

He currently holds offers from Iowa State, Indiana, ASU, Colorado, Michigan State, Oregon, Minnesota, Arizona, Washington, Northwestern, UNLV, Washington State, LSU, Michigan, Nebraska, Oregon State, Florida State and Duke.

Along with Morrison, the Broncos have a 2022 class that features tight end Tyler Powell and defensive lineman Zac Swanson, who also hold multiple Power 5 offers.

Morrison joined the Recruiting Roundup to discuss his progression as a defensive back, his support system as he navigates his recruitment, and which program is recruiting him hardest right now.
