A Few Ivy League Schools Recruiting Nicolas Nesbitt Hardest

Chandler 2021 running back Nicolas Nesbitt has been a big-run threat every time he’s touched the ball over the last few years.

Over the past two seasons, he accumulated 941 rushing yards and 17 total touchdowns. In 2019, he averaged 10.5 yards per carry and was a part of a rushing attack that totaled nearly 3,500 yards and 56 touchdowns.

Nesbitt’s recruitment is picking up this offseason, specifically from the Ivy League. Currently, he holds offers from Morehead St., Brown, Valparaiso, San Diego, Dartmouth, Penn, Lafayette and Columbia.

Columbia is his most recent offer, and the running back had this to say about the program:

First off, Columbia is a really prestigious school. It’s a very tip top program. I would definitely be a great fit there. I spoke directly with the running back coach. He’s a really cool guy. He gave me some pointers to up my game. I’m planning on setting up a virtual visit soon so my family and I can have more insight on the program. It would be nice to go ball in NYC.

Nesbitt has taken virtual visits to Brown, Penn, Lafayette and plans to take one to Dartmouth in the future.

The 5-foot-9, 190-pound running back also holds a 3.8 GPA in the classroom. He breaks down how he’s improved this offseason and some of the schools recruiting him hardest in the video above.
