NFL Network Host, Colleen Wolfe examines the 2020 Cardinals

Colleen Wolfe is an NFL Network host and she stopped by the show to chat with Sande Charles and share her thoughts the Cardinals 2020 schedule and the NFL Draft. The Cardinals schedule was released recently and they open up against the NFC Champion, San Francisco 49ers at Levi Stadium. Week Six they take on the Dallas Cowboys at Jerry’s World in a Monday Night Football matchup and a return home for Kyler Murray. The second half of the season seems to be a tad more challenging than the first few weeks. “I thought they would have a few more prime time games..But I love that Week 6 game, Monday Night Football at Dallas. It’s a homecoming game for Kyler. “ Wolfe explained.

When you look at the schedule, the Cardinals get their back to back east coast games out of the way early on in weeks four and five from the Carolina Panthers to the New York Jets. They will most likely stay on the East between those games and get adjusted.

After Week 5, it’s an uphill climb for the RedBirds. If they don’t come out of the first five weeks with a winning record, they’ll be putting themselves behind the proverbial eight-ball in their playoff hunt.

With the Cardinals schedule out and the NFL Draft in the books, that can only mean one thing.. we are that much closer to HOPEFULLY having football this season. In regards to the Cardinals’ draft selections, Colleen tells us what stood out to her, “Isaiah Simmons, he is one of my favorite rookies. I was so excited about this in the draft. He is such a Swiss army knife.”

The Cardinals addressed just about all of their needs in this years draft class. Now the fans wait and see if it all can come together and if the Red Birds can pull off a big winning surge forward like the 49ers did last year.
