Under Armour All-American Elijhah Badger Commits to ASU

Arizona State publicly added two wide receivers on early signing day for their 2020 class in Chad Johnson Jr. and Johnny Wilson.

Turns out more weapons are heading Jayden Daniels’ way.

Under Armour All-American wide receiver Elijhah Badger announced he has committed to the Sun Devils. The 6’1″, 185-pound wide receiver was incredibly productive at Folsom High School, catching 183 passes for 3,398 yards and 52 touchdowns in three seasons. As a senior, he hauled in 79 catches for 1,386 yards and 20 touchdowns in 12 games. He was also recruited on the defensive side of the ball, but the Sun Devils plan to have him play receiver.

Badger continues the heavy trend of Southern California commits headed to to Tempe. Of the 14 publicly signed players in the 2020 class, 10 of those players come from California.

Along with the Sun Devils, Badger holds offers from USC, Oregon, Florida, Michigan, Nebraska, Colorado, Arizona, Kansas State, Tennessee, Washington State, Utah and Texas A&M.

Badger’s high school teammate and four-star Daniyel Ngata is also scheduled to make his commitment at the game. The Sun Devils are a finalist for him as well.

In addition to that, the ASU receiving class could become even deeper if California’s LV Bunkley-Shelton commits to the Sun Devils at the All-American Bowl on Saturday. There will be four hats on the table for his reveal, and the Sun Devils won’t be one of them, but ASU was also the only official visit Bunkley-Shelton took in the fall.
