Brandon Buckner is one of the top defensive ends in the West, and has had an impressive offseason. He earned defensive line MVP honors at The Opening Oakland regional and continues to hear from some of the top programs in the nation.
Buckner currenlty holds offers from Oregon, ASU, Maryland, Oregon State, NAU, Arizona and Iowa State, and he said he’s been talking to the likes of Michigan, Clemson, Penn State, USC and Texas since September 1st.
The 6-2, 245-pound defensive end hasn’t taken the field yet in 2019. He injured his ankle just days before the Wolves’ season opener and is close to returning to the field.
Buckner tells Sports360AZ how he is still working while injured, gives a recruiting update and shares his thoughts on this year’s edition of Hard Knocks, which featured his father, Oakland Raiders defensive line coach Brentson Buckner.
