Chandler Linebacker Malik Reed Commits to Wisconsin

Chandler linebacker Malik Reed lived in the backfield during junior season with an expanded role. He posted 42 tackles, 20.5 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks helping lead the Wolves to a third straight state championship.

He will hope to bring that same prowess in the backfield to the Badgers after he committed to Wisconsin on Tuesday morning.

Reed holds offers from Arizona, Indiana, Wisconsin, Yale, Washington State, UCLA, Nebraska, Colorado, Oregon State and Purdue. This spring, he visited UCLA on an unofficial and official visit, Nebraska’s spring game before taking Arizona, Wisconsin and an official with the Huskers.

The 6’1″, 220-pound linebacker headlines another stout Chandler defense along with fellow linebacker Tate Romney and safety Gunner Maldonado, who is committed to Northwestern.
