Getting Social: A Few High School Offseason Updates

It’s been a busy offseason for plenty of schools, whether they are hitting camps, hitting the weights or being visited by former players. Here what a few schools have shared on social media as they prep for a quickly approaching zero week:

Three-Peat Thatcher?

The Thatcher Eagles are going for their third straight title, and a lot of the work that set them up for thre previous two state titles was done in the offseason. Enter “The Hill”….

Arizona Cali Prep

Arizona College Prep has its first true offseason after their inaugural season in 2017. With a season under their belts, they took to the road and headed up to Cal Lutheran to get some work in away from the desert.

Wolves in the Mountains

The Chandler Wolves have also beat the heat and headed up to the White Mountains to work out and bond as their go for their fourth state championship in five years.

Desert Mountain in the NFL

It’s always cool to see guys come back in the offseason to their old stomping grounds and be an example for current prep players. New Orleans Saint defensive tackle and former Desert Mountain defensive tackle Tyeler Davison came back to his high school campus to talk to some of the current Wolves.

Rumor was fellow former Desert Mountain wide receiver and Baltimore Ravens third round pick Mark Andrews was working out with current Wolves quarterback Kedon Slovis earlier this month as well.
