Texas may have won the 2006 Rose Bowl over USC, but can they win the recruiting battle for Notre Dame Prep athlete Jake Smith?
The two-sport star had three goals in the Division I lacrosse state championship on Friday night and announced the Longhorns and Trojans as his top-two for his recruitment on the gridiron on Saturday.
Thank you to every Coach that has recruited/offered me. You have all made my dreams come true. My final 2 schools are:

Smith, a four-star recruit according to 247Sports, has over 30 offers from among the top programs in the nation. The 2019 Under Armour All-American was a 1,000 rusher and receiver for the Saints as a junior and helped lead Notre Dame Prep to the 5A state title game against Centennial.
He said he plans to visit both schools again and hopes to have his commitment made this summer.
