Hurley Hot: ASU Hoops Adds Size To 2018 Class

Bobby Hurley’s star-studded 2018 recruiting class got even better Thursday with the signing of 7-foot-1 center Uros Plavsic from Serbia. The four-star recruit has helped this Arizona State class land in the top ten in several national rankings.

Ranked as the 12th-best center by 247 Sports, Plavsic prepped last year at Hamilton Heights Christian Academy in Chattanooga, Tennessee where he averaged just under 10 points, 7.5 rebounds and shot 53.9 percent from the field.

The Devils’ class ranks third in the Pac-12 behind Oregon (3) and UCLA (6) and eighth nationally according to 247 Sports.

Plavsic joins of a trio of other four-star 2018 Sun Devil recruits Luguentz Dort, Elias Valtonen and Taeshon Cherry.

ASU finished 20-12 last season and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time under Hurley.
