Chandler’s Conover, Liebrock Take Official Visit to ASU

Herm Edwards and his staff are still looking for their first commits of the 2019 class, and hosted Chandler quarterback Jacob Conover and tight end Brayden Liebrock this weekend.

Conover, a four-star recruit, has been a two-year starter for the Wolves and led them to two straight state championships. In both of his seasons as a starter, the quarterback threw 32 touchdowns. As a junior, he played in five less games due to injury and only threw two interceptions all year.

Liebrock has seen 22 of his 23 offers come in since January 12th when the Sun Devils were his second overall offer and first Power 5 offer. As a junior, he had 600 receiving yards and five touchdowns, all in the last five games of the season.

The Sun Devils are looking to recreate the same magic they had in the class of 2016 as they configure the class of 2019. Arizona State earned commitments from Chandler teammates N’Keal Harry and Chase Lucas, and both have cracked the starting lineup of their respective sides of the ball.
