A day after seeing their perfect record disappear in Tucson, there was quite a bit of news surrounding Arizona State basketball. 6’9 Carton Bragg, who came to Arizona State last spring after leaving Kansas is on the move again according to several national recruiting outlets. He had been away from basketball while tending to personal matters.
Carlton Bragg is leaving Arizona State, source told ESPN. Had transferred in from Kansas last spring.

Bragg was a five-star recruit coming out of high school in Cleveland. He left Kansas after two seasons before coming to ASU.
Meantime, Bobby Hurley has been active on the recruiting trail. Locally, the Sun Devils have reportedly offered a scholarship to Higley high school(Gilbert, AZ) 6″9 Shon Robinson(class of 2020). Hurley has already offered Robinsons teammate Jason Harris(class of 2020).
Five star 2018 Taeshon Cherry from Foothills Christian High School(San Diego, CA) will officially visit Arizona State on January 11th when the Sun Devils host Oregon. Cherry is a 6″8 small forward, who’s rated by recruiting services as one of the top players in California and a top 50 prospect nationally. Cherry had given USC a verbal commitment but has since pulled back. Along with the Sun Devils, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt and St. Johns have been listed.
