#16th ranked Arizona State remained undefeated and shocked the college basketball world on Sunday, by beating #2 Kansas 95-85 on the Jayhawks home court. Guards Remy Martin, Tra Holder and Shannon Evans combined for 72 points. Martin scored a career high 21. While the final score will go down as one of the biggest wins in Arizona State basketball history, the game didn’t start out as anything memorable. The Jayhawks jumped out to a 15-2, but the Sun Devils rallied back to trail by just three at halftime. @SunDevil Hoops posted this video shortly after the game.

The shooting numbers on the day tell the story. The Sun Devils shot 50% from the floor(33-65), and 50% from the 3 point stripe(14-28). The win at Kansas puts ASU at 9-0 for just the second time in school history. It’s their first road victory over a Top 5 program since 1998.
How high will the Sun Devils be in this weeks AP Poll? Will there be a spike in attendance for a program that has constantly played in front of more empty seats than fans? The next home game for ASU will be Sunday the 17th, at noon against Vanderbilt.
