Diamondbacks release 2018 regular season schedule

The Arizona Diamondbacks released their 2018 Regular Season Schedule today, which begins on March 29 at home against the Colorado Rockies.

The early months of the season are full of divisional matchups including two home series against the current NL West favorites, the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Diamondbacks will spend many of this year’s holidays at home including Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Cinco de Mayo.

In 2018, the Diamondbacks face the AL West in interleague play, hosting the Houston Astros (May 4-6), Texas Rangers (July 30-31), Los Angeles Angels (Aug. 21-22), and Seattle Mariners (Aug. 24-26). Interleague road games include the Oakland Athletics (May 25-27), Angels (June 18-19), Rangers (Aug. 14-15), and Astros (Sept. 14-16).

Before the All-Star Game on July 17 at Nationals Park in Washington D.C., the Diamondbacks will play 97 of their 162 games, having more off days in the second half of the season.

To end the season, the Diamondbacks will be on the road in San Diego for a three-game series. The last home stand of the year features series’ against the Chicago Cubs (Sept. 17-19), Rockies (Sept. 21-23), and Dodgers (Sept. 24-26).
