Coyotes reassign Fischer to Tucson

Friday morning, Arizona Coyotes general manager John Chayka announced that the Coyotes have reassigned rookie Christian Fischer to the Tucson Roadrunners, the American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate team.

Fischer was brought up last Friday. The 19-year-old scored a goal in his first two games in the NHL, becoming the first player in Coyotes’ franchise history to do so. Fischer has 16 goals and 16 assists in 31 games with the Roadrunners this season.

While back in Tucson, Fischer will represent the Roadrunners at the AHL All-Star game in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania on Monday.
