BEAVERTON, ORE. – Bishop Gorman cornerback Alex Perry has always had strong ties to the Sun Devils. His older brother, Armand, is a defensive back with the team currently. Alex was committed to the Sun Devils but re-opened his recruitment to go through the process.
The Sun Devils remain high on his list, though, along with Colorado, Michigan and North Carolina. Along with his teammate, Bubba Bolden, the Bishop Gorman pair have been sought after by the Sun Devil faithful. While Perry may not be the biggest defensive back standing at 5-foot-10, 170 pounds, Scout.com national recruiting director Brandon Huffman says he has the makings of being a shutdown corner at the next level.
On Wednesday, Perry announced a decision is around the corner. It was followed by a tweet from Bolden saying big news would be coming from him as well.
I will be committing to a college soon

Both Colorado and ASU are pursuing both players, and the timing of both announcements could indicate a joint commitment. Or it could mean nothing. Who knows? I guess we will see where these two Bishop Gorman defensive backs land.
