Former Mesa Jackrabbit Fackrell Selected By Packers

Kyler Fackrell would have been a high pick in the 2015 NFL draft. But after a torn ACL in 2014, the Utah State linebacker back to the Aggies.

In 2015, the former Mesa High School star racked up 82 tackles, 15 tackles for loss and four sacks.

Now, he is NFL-bound after the Green Bay Packers selected him with the 88th overall pick in the third round.

Fackrell stands at 6-foot-5 and 250 pounds. Scouts love his length and athleticism and is a “poster boy” for a playmaker off the edge according to NFL.com. He has been compared to to Connor Barwin of the Philadelphia Eagles.
