Every week during the season NFL Network and NFL.com Senior Fantasy Analyst Michael Fabiano joins Sports360AZ.com’s Brad Cesmat to share his insight on building and developing your fantasy team for success.

Here are some hi-lights from our most recent conversation (December 29th) with the Fantasy Sports Writer’s Association Hall of Famer.

Who are some hot names on the waiver wire this week?  “The best adds this week are Cameron Artis-Payne, Karlos Williams, Mike Gillislee, Kamar Aiken, Bilal Powell, Marcus Wheaton, Zach Ertz, Zach Miller and even Sam Bradford (going up against the Giants, who have an awful pass defense).”

Who’s been a bigger late-season surprise: Tyrod Taylor or Kirk Cousins? “Kirk Cousins for sure because Tyrod is a guy that I liked because he could run with the football on top of what he could do with his arm.”

If you’re streaming defenses this weekend, who are some good plays? “I like the Bengals and Rams this week, but both could be owned. The Colts, Redskins and Steelers are also good options. Even the Titans are worth a look against the Colts and whatever quarterback they’re picking up off the street (maybe Stephen Morris)?”

Better Week 17 start: Eddie Lacy or Ka’Deem Carey? “Neither! I guess Lacy, but good luck with that.”

Best play this week: Cam Newton or Blake Bortles? “I’m sticking with Newton. Bortles actually has a tough matchup against the Texans.”

Better match up: Ted Ginn or John Brown? “Brown, but will the Cardinals [start resting] their starters if the Panthers [are beating] the Buccaneers?”
