Sun Devils Make the Cut for 7’1 Thon Maker

Arizona State basketball has reportedly made the final four list for much coveted 7″1 Thon Maker.
The five-star big man trimmed his college destination on Friday and ESPN’s Jeff Borzello is reporting that Arizona State is still in the mix.

There has been quite a bit of speculation that Maker would bypass college and play overseas for one season before heading to the NBA. Kentucky and Kansas have been the most active schools on Maker until the recent hiring of Bobby Hurley by Arizona State. Arizona State assistant coach Brian Merritt has a very tight relationship with Makers inner circle and has convinced the big man to look strongly at becoming a Sun Devil.

Even if Maker is only eligible for the second half of the 2015-16 season, he would be an instant impact player.
