The TNT broadcast crew of Kevin Harlan, Reggie Miller and Dan Bonner were sitting right in front of me for the game. Miller was waving his arms, sitting back in his chair, and shaking his head in disbelief with some of the plays by Stanley Johnson. At one point during the broadcast he said “I’m sorry. We may be seeing the reincarnation of Lebron James” when talking about the Arizona freshman…

TNT also credited Rondae Hollis-Jefferson with a triple-double. A career high 23 points, 10 rebounds and 10 shimmies…

Texas Southern head coach Mike Davis could only flash a small smile and shake his head, ” We hadn’t seen a body like Stanley Johnsoni walk out on the floor this season”. Johnson put up 22 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 assists. “He’s an NBA lottery pick for sure”, Davis said a short time later.
In a game where Arizona head coach Sean Miller used the term ‘mediocre” to describe his defense. Making note that the team did a poor job getting back in transition. There wasn’t much else to complain about if you’re a Arizona fan…
