Former Valley star QB leaving Arizona Wildcats program

Arizona Sports News online

University of Arizona quarterback Connor Brewer has decided to transfer out of the Wildcat program.

The former Scottsdale Chaparral star quarterback will be heading to his third college since graduating from high school.  Brewer went to Texas and then transferred to the UA. This past season he saw action in the Wildcats season opener at UNLV.

The departure of Brewer means that Anu Solomon and three others, Brandon Dawkins, Jerrard Randall, and former Basha high walk-on Zach Werlinger are on the depth chart for Rich Rodriguez.

With National Letter of Intent day coming up in three weeks, the Wildcats presently don’t have a quarterback in their class.
