ASU gets Texas in first round of March Madness

Turn the page, burn the film, erase the memory. Arizona State basketball can only look forward to this Thursday night when they play the University of Texas Longhorns in round one of the NCAA Basketball Tournament.
The Sun Devils haven’t shown an ounce of consistency over the last month, stumbling and bumbling down the stretch. Last week they were one and done in the Pac-12 Tourney against Stanford.
I am sure the buildup to this game will be something along the lines of “excited to be in the tourney” and “why not us?”.
Arizona State has quite a bit of individual talent, but they haven’t shown me that they can play together as team on a consistent basis.
If the Sun Devils win Thursday night, they would meet the winner of Michigan vs Wofford on Saturday in Milwaukee. Tip-off for Thursday nights game will be at 6:40pm Arizona time.
