Each week NFL Network and NFL.com Fantasy Football Editor Michael Fabiano joins Pros2Preps.com’s Brad Cesmat to share his insight on building your fantasy team for success.

Here are some hilights from our most recent conversation (October 2) with the Fantasy Sports Writer’s Association Hall of Famer.

Where are you on Steelers rookie running back Le’Veon Bell? “Hard not to like what Bell did overseas against the Vikings scoring a couple touchdowns. He is head and shoulders the best running back in that backfield. He was actually available in around 40% of NFL.com leagues which was a shock and if he’s [still] available in your league…grab him, stash him. He has RB2 upside in that offense.”

Any another young running back you’re keeping your eye who likely will get more touches as the season progresses? “Giovani Bernard. I really like this kid. I’ve liked him since he was drafted. I was just waiting for that moment where he overtakes “The Law Firm” [BenJarvus Green-Ellis] and at some point here it’s coming when he is more of the featured guy in that backfield.”

What’s happened to Brandon Myers? “Brandon Myers has disappeared off the face of the earth the past couple weeks, at least on the stats sheets. After a decent start he has really disappeared. He’s still a low-end tight end one, high-end tight end two.”

It’s important to be patient, realistic through the bye weeks: “People have to understand that during the bye weeks things get tough but that doesn’t mean you’re going to drop a valuable player in an effort to put your best starting lineup for one week…you have to be creative. You have to look at the match ups.”
