The ASU Sun Devil DI hockey club will host the 10th ranked Liberty University Flames of Lynchburg, Virginia at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday night and the Stony Brook Sea Wolves of New York at 8:00 p.m. Friday and 7:00 p.m. Saturday night.
All three games will be played at Oceanside Arena in Tempe.
The #1 ranked ACHA Devils fell to 4th ranked Minot State Thursday, January 3rd 3-2 then bounced back Friday, January 4th with a 7-1 win over Williston State. Sun Devil Skater Dan Styrna notched a hat trick and ASU’s leading scorer, Kale Dolinski, added four assists in the Friday tilt.
ASU Hockey leads all ACHA scoring with seven of the top 10 scorers in the nation and net minder Joseph D’Elia with a 2.50 goals against average and a .91 % save percentage. The club relies on local support .
