Cardinals make roster moves

The Cardinals made some roster moves on Tuesday. The team has moved wide receiver Jaymar Johnson from the practice squad to the 53-man roster and has released fullback Reagan Maui’a.

Johnson has been on the Cardinals practice squad since Sept. 20. He spent the last three seasons with the Vikings and was part of their final roster cuts on Sept. 3.

Johnson was a sixth-round pick by the Vikings out of Jackson State. He spent his rookie season as a member of their practice squad. He played in six games in the 2009 season, where he had one catch and 16 punt returns.

The team also re-signed tight end Steve Skelton to the practice squad. Skelton is the brother of quarterback John Skelton. Skelton signed with the team as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Fordham.

Skelton returns to the practice squad after spending Week 11 with the team.
