Sun Devils In On Star Recruit Bubba Bolden

BEAVERTON, ORE. – Bishop Gorman safety Bubba Bolden is among one of the best players in the class of 2017.  He sees bits of Kam Chancellor and Taylor Mays’ game in his style of play, and stands at 6-foot-3 and 185 pounds.

He gave his soft verbal to USC, but has said, “If it’s not right, it’s not right”. The four-star recruit also mentioned ASU, Colorado and UCLA as other possible destinations. Bolden is close with Arizona State defensive back Armand Perry and is current teammates with Perry’s younger brother, Alex. He calls both Armand and Alex “brothers”. Could this help the Sun Devil’s cause?

We may know shortly.

Wednesday night, Bolden tweeted this:

That’s about an hour after Alex Perry tweeted he would be committing soon as well. Bolden mentioned to me at The Opening he would like to be a package deal with his secondary mate but only if the situation works best for both of them.

The Sun Devils already received a package deal from a trio of Saguaro Sabercats last month, could they pull off another?
