The 6-3, 175 pound Cameron Satterwhite is averaging 18 points, five rebounds and three assists in 21 games for Gilbert Christian this season. In addition to Colorado, Satterwhite had reported offers from Northern Arizona, Portland, Portland State, Rice and Weber State.

Satterwhite broke onto the scene last season as a sophomore with the Knights along side current college players Roberto Reyes and Sam Jones. The departure of those two has freed up Satterwhite to take off in 2014-15 showing off a great jump shot as well as an incredible ability to get to the basket and more often then not, dunk over a defender in his way. He is rangy and has great athleticism which will translate well at the two-guard position at the next level.

Colorado has been a top-four program in the conference under Tad Boyle since joining the Pac-12 in 2011. Since joining, Boyle has picked up the pace recruiting in Arizona and this commitment now marks the second for Boyle from the East Valley in three years. The last being former Dobson standout Jaron Hopkins who this season for the Buffs has started 12 of the first 18 games and averaging just over seven points per game.

This is the second Gilbert Christian junior on the roster to commit to a division I program. The first being power forward Mitch Lightfoot who has committed to the New Mexico Lobos.
